We offer a luxury 5-8 bedroom cabin for you to enjoy with family and friends We are a short drive to the major attractions such as Old Mans Cave, Conkles Hollow, Rock House, Ash Caves, Cedar Falls and others. The Hocking Hills region is beautiful anytime of year but when it snows it is breathtaking. If coming to our cabin in the winter you will HAVE to have a 4 wheel drive to make it to the cabin, and it is recommended year round as well but a MUST in the winter. Even though you need a 4 wheel drive the cabin is well worth the drive to get there. Come visit and see why we have so many repeat guests. Another rainy cold day in Ohio BUT the good news is we are one day closer to spring and with spring we get the beautiful flowers, trees budding and all the animals coming out from hibernating through the winter. I love spring and summer and cannot wait for the warmer temps but there is still a lot to do during the colder months. There is the winter hike this month at Old Mans Cave and just sitting around a fire in the great room is a great way to spend quality time with friends and family, free from stress and work.

We can accommodate up to 20 people in the 8 bedroom 4 bath lodge in the Hocking Hills.

Cold day in Hocking Hills

Well I guess winter is on its way, it is freezing here in Hocking Hills this morning and the rain does not make it any better. Hope it warms up again soon. We have a group in Martinwoods Cabins this weekend that were going to Wayne National Forest to rides ATV's, hopefully the weather will hold off for them to enjoy themselves.

I would first like to thank all of my great guests. We have had some not so great guests because they cannot respect others property but I do appreciate all the great repeat customers that we have. It is getting colder as falls begins and it makes for a great hot tub experience. If you have never tried a hot tub when the snow falls you are missing out. It is so beautiful to sit in a nice warm hot tub and look up as the snow falls on your face.

Many people think that when you get out it will be cold but it is quite the opposite, since your blood warms up while you are in the hot tub it is not bad at all when you step out.

hocking Hills Cabins

It is still snowing tonight here in Hocking Hills. We had quite a bit of snow at the cabins today and of course the first snow my jeep decided to let me down for the first time in 8 years. My guests had to park at the bottom of the hill since they did not bring 4 wheel drive as mentioned, we will have to try and get all of their stuff carried down since I do not have my jeep to go up the fill

When coming to the Hocking Hills in the winter it is always a good idea to bring 4 wheel drive. We do let everyone know that if you come to our cabins in the Hocking Hills during the winter and we get snow we cannot be responsible for getting you up and down the hills, they are very steep but we do plow but there are those unusual occasions like today when the jeep was not able to do what it needed because the frame cracked and needs to be repaired. I have never had this happen in the 9 years we have been open but there is always a first like today. The Hocking Hills is not a place to be without 4 wheel drive in the winter, if you have ever been to the Hocking Hills you know what I am talking about, if you have never been to the Hocking Hills just ask anyone, there are many hills and curves and 4 wheel drive is a must when there is snow.
